The Purpose and Practical Use of ICS Forms

Description

This course covers the purpose of the 24 most used ICS forms and how they can be utilized in actual events/incidents. The class will demonstrate how to fill out and use each form as well as the documentation purpose of each. The application of forms in the development of the Incident Action Plan, Resource Management process, and demobilization will be explained. Scenario based exercises will be used to provide hands-on activities to better familiarize students with the most common ICS forms.  

Similar courses

This five-day course serves as a basic introduction to the activities and processes of a Type 3 All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT), enabling them to be better prepared to support large scale or complex operations in their communities. This course is open to anyone meeting the course prerequisites.
