Hazardous Materials Responders at the Technician Level are required to retrain or demonstrate competency in their assigned job duties at least annually. This course is half of a two-day refresher designed to meet or exceed the minimum annual refresher requirements. Through simulated emergencies, students will learn to analyze the incident, plan a response for the conditions present, implement their planned response, and evaluate the effectiveness of their plan within the limitations of their training and resources. Part-A will focus primarily on incident analyze and developing response plans.
