Swiftwater Rescue Technician 16 HRS

The next level of Swiftwater, this class expands on Swiftwater operations to Swiftwater Technician, this course will provide you the opportunity to learn and improve your skills. Few rescue situations present a more challenging environment than Swiftwater. This 2-day course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to meet NFPA 1006 Swiftwater Rescue Level I & II. Learn high lines, boat tether operations and other skills in the Swiftwater disciplines.

Swiftwater Rescue Operations

Students will need to bring closed toe shoes (tennis shoes, Swiftwater rescue shoes), wetsuit or drysuit if needed, sunscreen, gloves suitable for rope work (mechanics gloves, Swiftwater gloves etc.), portable camp chair.
