Rope Rescue Operations (IFSAC)
The Rope Rescue Operations course is designed to teach responders to operate as rescuers in high or low-angle environments. Students will learn how to build rope systems to effectively provide access to patients for assessment, treatment, packaging, and extraction. Students will learn how to construct and operate anchor systems, fixed rope systems, lowering systems, dual tension systems, belay systems, mechanical advantage systems, and patient packaging devices and systems.

Students will learn how to build rope systems to effectively provide access to patients for assessment, treatment, packaging, and extraction. Students will learn about identifying hazards and resource needs, planning, and supporting technician-level operations.
