New Emergency Manager Orientation (NEMO)

You must provide your FEMA Independent Study (IS) Course Certificates or Transcript for IS-100, IS-200, & IS-700 to amy.devore@oem.ok.gov prior to class start.

This course is designed to introduce basic Emergency Management Principles and Theories to new Emergency Managers, as well as to Emergency Managers with limited to extended years of service. The course will focus on all Four Phases of Emergency Management with an emphasis on managing expectations, program assessment and development, as well as planning processes.  This course is a combination of lecture, group activities and some basic practical application of material presented in each session.
