Homeland Security Conference
Description
The Oklahoma Homeland Security Conference brings together experts from various fields, including Homeland Security, School Security, Law Enforcement, and Fire Services, along with officials from federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, business leaders, academic institutions, and policymakers. The conference aims to educate attendees on the latest trends in homeland security and showcase new equipment and technologies that can enhance operations.
In October 2024, OKOHS successfully hosted its inaugural Homeland Security Conference at the Robert R. Lester Training Center in Oklahoma City. This event was organized in partnership with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), the Oklahoma School Security Institute (OSSI), and the Oklahoma Counter Terrorism Intelligence Center (OCTIC). The one-day conference attracted over 275 participants and included 23 breakout sessions featuring training workshops, equipment demonstrations, and program presentations.
We are excited to offer an even more enriching experience this year, featuring three full days of training and breakout sessions.
